GOVERNANCE
Qatar Academy is part of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. The Qatar Foundation is governed by an Executive Board of Directors chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned.
The governing authority appoints a Board of Governors for Qatar Academy. The Board develops policy, approves the budget for submission to Qatar Foundation, and hires the Director of the School.
The policies of the Board provide guidance to the school's administration in the areas of curriculum, personnel, and student affairs.
The Board meets monthly throughout the school year. During these meetings the Board and senior administrators deal with the major management issues confronting the school.
LEADERSHIP
Qatar Academy has an organization structure that is designed to promote student learning while minimizing non-instructional costs.

The Director is responsible for the overall operation of the school. He personally oversees the personnel, financial, facilities, and Qatar Foundation activities of the school.
The Heads of School supervise the overall day-to-day operations of their respective schools. They are the primary contact people for parents who have concerns about their children or the school.
