Parents

The Administration and faculty of Qatar Academy believe that education is a joint process shared between QA staff and the parents of enrolled students. In its effort to provide excellence in education for the students, the school strives to ensure that information concerning goals, achievements, activities, and operations of the Academy are conveyed to the parents. Qatar Academy utilizes the following means to provide information to the community and parents:

1. Webpage: The Academy shall maintain a web page for public view and access in which material posted on this web page will be reviewed and updated periodically.

2. Newsletter (Akbar): The Academy will issue and disseminate a weekly newsletter in English to all parents to communicate Academy news, events, and new policies and procedures.

3. Parent Nights/Open House: Each school within the Academy shall host an open night for parents at the beginning of each school year to provide the parents with the opportunity to become acquainted with the school curriculum, its staff, administration, and facilities.

4. Parent-Teacher Conferences: Each school will host special days for parents to meet with their children's teachers to discuss their progress twice a year. Parents or teachers may request a conference at any time.
