Welcome to the High School
As the Acting High School Principal it is my pleasure to welcome you to Qatar Academy Doha (QAD). I look forward to greeting all new and returning families to our school community, as we begin our 2018 - 2019 academic year. I encourage you to look through our newly updated website, be it as a current member or as someone who may be interested in joining our QAD community.
Qatar Academy Doha High School (QAD) is a dynamic place to be. We number approximately 400 students form diverse backgrounds and nationalities. This diversity is also reflected in our faculty members. We have a team of dedicated and talented educators from all around the globe. What we all have in common is that we call Qatar and QAD home. Our curricula are driven by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
Academic are important and we are proud to maintain an enviable 100% graduation rate. Every year our students go on to study in all four corners of the world-be it Yale, Oxford, Georgetown School of Foreign Service in Qatar or embarking on a career in the Armed Forces. That said, as the IB MYP and IBDP recognize they are only part of the story. QAD alumni are more than grades on a transcript, they are principled individuals who go out into the world with the intention of making a difference.
If you would like more information about QAD High School or you would like to arrange a visit, we would love to hear from you.
